Today I read something about removing deadnames from a code archive, the archive here is Software Heritage. The particular archive maybe not important, there are many other archives like GitHub. But it can also be important, since it's somewhat special. I believe everyone is special. There are reasons to remove or avoid deadnames, and there are reason for the code archive to keep stable, keep immutable. The power are not equal obviously, a single person at one hand, a organization at another hand. Conflits between needs, what can I say about it? There are so much uncertain everywhere...
